   It blows my mind that someone was so thrilled to successfully register a single letter domain name in the 90s that he's made it his entire identity and wants to use it for every single thing he touches.

   Like, dude, it was the late 90s. Domains weren't that hard to get yet. It's not that special.

     They haven't been available to the public since 1992. It's actually quiet special. There was even an event to reserve them so a single corp couldn't own them all.

     also my current $work project is a 3 letter domain that cost over $400k.

     @feld are you saying they didn't allow single letter domains when the opened up so many additional extensions a few years ago (.social, .pizza, etc.)
