     @eris on one hand I think it kind of defeats the point of joining fedi, on the other hand I can very, very easily see massive nation wide controversy from people who don't understand fedi when they look at bbc dot bbc and see hitlerfan1488 posting loli porn on the federated timeline, even if it's deleted in 0.01 nanoseconds

     @galena based on their about page it sounds like their hope is that they don't have to pay too much attention to it and do much moderation maintenance
