   Covid vaccine mandates were when I “peaked” on everything else.

   Longstanding skeptics predicted this sort of thing from the very beginning, but I just couldn’t fathom it. It just wasn’t possible, in my worldview, for anyone to demand that people take a brand-new vaccine. That wasn’t what being pro-vax was about; being pro-vax was liking vaccines and wanting them to available for those who also like them. The way some people were eagerly looking forward to a vaccine whose development was so rushed seemed a bit foolhardy to me, but if that’s how they felt, let them do their thing. The idea that employers or governments would be forcing something so new on people who didn’t want it was far fetched and paranoid as far as I was concerned.

   Funny how it all happened around the same time – the big push for trans and the dictatorial approach to vaccines. Funny how Disney is promoting both, as well. You’d almost think the two things were profitable to the same people.

     @LadyMont I have no idea. If I had the money and time, I would spend a portion of my time fighting mandates of all kinds.

     I’m not sure the vaccines even work well enough to bother trying for approval. I mean, I’m seeing the recipients still get Covid, at the same level of severity as the unvaccinated people. They might want to just encourage people to forget about all this.

     @Cousin_Isobel Funny how when the first trial round for the vaccine ended in February this year, so did the mandate of taking it.

     @Cousin_Isobel Are they even working on the second trial? I mean they have too, if they want to get the vaccine approved, eventually. Because, it hasn't officially yet.
