Boomers really got gen 0.1 psyop'd into talking about how they are the best band in the world and carry that advertisement induced flame for 60 years now.

     Bingo! As a relative oldster (GenX), I have been expose to a lot of cultural detritus from movies, cartoons, tv, music, etc. I had the weird notion that a lot of the stuff I was aware of was common, perhaps eternal knowledge, but much of it just seems to be just artificially elevated nonsensical distractions... Still enjoy much of it, but do not take it too seriously, and none of it defines me...
