   Room Temperature ambient pressure superconductors are a holy grail in physics which confers are species almost magical superpowers.

   Electricity transmission is infinitely loss free now. Extremely powerful magnets that can confine plasma for nuclear fusion, Transportation schemes which involve magnetic levitation for low energy transport etc is trivial.

   It simultaneously reduces our energy consumption and increases our energy production.

   It is over. Every ideology wins. Any form of stupidity is practical and any intelligent dream is easy to achieve now.

     I can't wait for all the patent squabbles, resulting in the superconductor being unusable for 20 years.
     
     Damn that software is going to become even more proprietary, with a LOT more processing power potentially becoming available.

     @Suiseiseki No patent squabbles. This is probably just first of a family of high temperature low pressure superconductor.

     Everybody from Chinese, to Americans to Indians will have their own variants

     You say that, but after reading:
