   but seeing the only alternative to x86 and ARM is RISC-V, seems we're not anywhere close to getting off mr bones' wild ride :haggard:

     @chjara @erincandescent @ariadne Well I'd doubt RISC-V won't have it's share of failures, although I hope they're not going to be as bad as the numerous screw ups x86 got.

     @chjara @ariadne @lanodan I have a feeling that the level of eldritch required to get competitive perf out of RISC-V is very non-negligible
