   Have started keeping a bit of an eye on Mac Pro trash can models on popular auction web sites. Prices seem to be coming down to the point where it's not entirely implausible that one might go within my self-imposed relatively low upper price range… The retro of tomorrow, today!

     @hypertalking I believe some of the GPU cards were prone to failure, so it’s best to get the model that has the less sucky cards.

     @mingo @hypertalking There are some on for surprisingly low here at the moment. Of course, it’s eBay so the price means nothing until the last 10 seconds ;)

     @billgoats @mingo does the spec make any difference for nutty collectors? Eg any that should be avoided? I know close to nothing about them

     @hypertalking @billgoats interestingly it's mostly UK/US, I've not seen one on this side of The Channel. Here people still try to get €700+ for them.
