@chucker @kangaroo5383 And yet that’s exactly what a startup is and has always been. It’s not just any new business, it’s a temporary venture-capital funded corporation that’s designed to either scale exponentially or fail fast. The exit is inevitable (if the startup is “successful”) as that’s what you sell to VCs to get your investment.

I wish we’d call whatever that is a “startup”. A startup is a company that’s just getting started, not one designed from the get-go to be someone’s exit strategy.
