     i'm sure hardcore KlK fans already know all this but the entire show is based on a series of incredibly bad puns

     the first one is "kiru" (like in the title, Kiru ra Kiru) in Japanese can be the English word "kill" (キル) or it can be the verb for putting on clothing (着る) or the verb for cutting things (切る) such as with a pair of scissors. All of which are important to the show.

     The other pun of course is that in Japanese "fashion" and "fascism" sound very similar

     the show is super subtle about all this like how it opens with a teacher lecturing a class about the Nazis coming to power in Germany

     oh random aside

     generally the languages in countries that first encountered tea by the silk road (by land) from China refer to tea as some variation of "cha" while the languages that first encountered tea by way of the Min Tan port (by sea) refer to it as some variation of "te"
