     @JapanAnon I haven't watched it myself, but I've had an aversion to anything Cyberpunk (and CDPR themselves since they screwed Devotion over) post-launch.
     
     Anime could be good for all I know.

     @maxmustermann It's like a dark inverse of the Kemono Friends situation. An anime licensed to go with a game that ended up not mattering anymore, but had to be released because the check had already been cashed.

     @special-boy @Xeraser @maxmustermann The Witcher games being decent is what tricked me into thinking Cyberpunk would be good. My optimism now lies in tatters around me.
     
     It would have at least been a sub-bar linear narrative game, if they hadn't shoehorned in the forced open world. In the end it was just a forced commute between story events, and Ubisoft-esque collectathons otherwise.

     @maxmustermann @JapanAnon I respect that kind of autism, dude literally said "god damnit give me the money to simulate just one neighborhood and I'll make it as detailed as I can" and it kinda happened with DE:MD. Again, there's not much of it but what is there is really enjoyable imho, I'd rather have a small but detailed world than a massive and barren one.
     
     Cyberpunk is garbage by design, you can't fix shitty game design. It also borrows mechanics from every recent "big" game - and none of them are copied WELL. I think CDPR expects modders to pull a Bethesda and have them fix the game instead - then get praised for "giving people such a good game to build upon".
     
     CDPR are scumbags without a single decent game under their belt. Literal redditor-tier circlejerk company.

     The Witcher games where good.
     Maybe not as great as some claim they are, but I've had lots of fun with them.
     Cyberpunk is playable and entertaining but not really good.
     The latest update changed nothing about that.

     I've already got it. Cyberpunk just isn't as good as CDPR has promised. Never will be. Other games you can play instead are Shadowrun Dragonfall and Shadowrun Hongkong. Just avoid Returns which is shit because it has been overshadowed by by the two other games.

     Go play DE: Manking Divided. If you have enough self-control to not immediately lose your shit at the sight of the Square-mandated OPTIONAL mtx (or just pirate the fucking thing with all of them turned on) then it's a REALLY good game imho. There isn't that MUCH of it but it is damn good.
