   I had another success with AMD GPUs on the libre kernel. I was able to confirm my Dell Vostro 1000 worked fully on Trisquel 11. On Trisquel 10 it gave an image but wasn't able to get full 3D acceleration. On Trisquel 11 it now works with full 3D acceleration. Some great times are occuring right now in my books. This laptop uses the ATI RS480 GPU for those interested. The more devices that people can get working with the libre kernel the more options people have for more privacy and security.

     I let glxgears run for 40 seconds and the FPS ranged from 165-191 FPS. I didn't use the "swap interval 0" part is it wouldn't run like that so I just used "glxgears".

     The swapinterval part is feature in the newest versions of glxgears that lets you unlock the fps, but I guess the older versions has the fps unlocked by default?
