   @feditips I’m very confused. I have my app, @IceCubesApp, set to post as Unlisted by default and yet sometimes when I reply to certain feeds I have to manually change it from Everyone. Am I missing something?

     I don't know if this is a bug on Ice Cubes?

     Does it sometimes have it as unlisted by default and other times it's public?

     @feditips @IceCubesApp If I understand your question, yes. A new update is pending and I will see of that fixes the problem.

     @feditips @IceCubesApp Okay…the setting in the app is always the same (Unlisted), but when I reply to some feeds it the post status becomes Everyone. I wonder if it depends on the settings of the instance of the user to whom I’m replying?

     You should always be able to use Unlisted even if the post is Public/Everyone.

     The only time I can think of when it might default to another setting is if someone sends you a post with a more private setting, followers-only or mentions-only, when it might make sense to use the same visibility in replying.

     If your default visibility is Unlisted, it shouldn't be making your posts Public/Everyone. Sounds like a bug?
