I was at the Capitol on January 6. I have talked about J6 to journalists and podcasters across 4 continents. I was in a documentary and I have written about it. I recorded my entire experience.

My father believes Antifa did J6. Nothing I can do will change that.

After J6, I spent a year talking to people who were there, or at least the rally to hear Trump speak. I constantly heard shit like "it wasn't violent. I didn't see any violence. We had a prayer circle and gave Bibles to the homeless."

@fu @noturtlesoup17 @cujobyte Because when it works it works better than any other form of large scale government we have seen.

You know what they say about assumptions. https://library.louisville.edu/ekstrom/criticalthinking/assumptions

Why do you assume the "most people" excludes minorities?

@fu @noturtlesoup17 @nsarwark @cujobyte That is some weasel wording right there. The definition of democracy is literally people's rule, it means the people are the source of power in a democracy.

And the majority, ideally, is whatever segment of the population that wins a given election by voting. The minority there is just what ever group was not the majority of voters, not a ethnic, religious, cultural, or gender/sex minority automatically.

I think you are being dishonest.

@fu Then specify that and not use the term minority without it because that had.ore than one meaning in this context.

And if you disagree with democracy what more egalitarian system do you propose?
