     Yeah but this one is cheaper and also has Hexproof. It’s strictly better, mechanically.

     Yeah that’s fair. I think the older artwork is overall better, though, although it’s not too bad for OP, unlike most zoomer art.

     @NEETzsche @keith That's because older art was traditional media and Wizards allowed for much more artistic interpretation at the time
     Finding out the bizarre art for Stasis was Richard Garfield's aunt wanting to support his game made me smile a little, I always wondered why her name only came up once
     I do like OP's, it doesn't feel like it was specifically made just for that card in that set

     I actually don’t think the real issue lies in how controlled it is, but how it’s controlled. The art style gradually soyed out, just in general.
