   @dansup Hello! When I get “this server is not compatible” when trying sign in with mastodon, what needs to be done to make it compatible? I’m using toot.wales

     @aegir It's working on pixelfed.social, each Pixelfed instance can restrict this to only allowed domains, so whatever instance you are trying on may be limiting them!

     @aegir Nope, but soon you'll be able to associate your Mastodon account with an existing Pixelfed account so I'd hold on for now!

     @dansup Though looks like I’ve screwed up my chance of keeping the same username on masto and pixelfed, I signed up separately and took my own username, so now I get username taken 🤦♂️. I’m guessing deleting my account won’t free it again?

     @dansup @aegir is there any updates on this? Both my mastodon and pixelfed use the same username, so when I tried using the "Sign in with mastodon" it tells me username is taken. Or is there a different way to associate my mastodon with my existing pixelfed?
