     For the record, I own my own phone (Android), but I have an unlimited plan with AT&T that includes unlimited text and talk that costs me $150, because my plan covers three phones that I pay to cover under the plan (including my own). It's one of the conditions that lowers my rent and utilities where I stay.

     To each his or her own, of course, but I want to see a plan where anyone on an iPhone can have unlimited talk/text for $35, that's not bundled with other services.

     @AnthonyJK I’m not trying to tell you how to live your life but that’s an outrageous amount to pay monthly for a phone. Outrageous. Especially when disabled people can get free service through the lifeline phone program. I pay $35 to use my iPhone unlimited talk and text and either 10 g data Or unlimited that slows after 10 idk I never use it all regardless.

     In addition, only reason I am including the phone in my fundraiser is because I normally can pay for it with my disability payments, but this month's bill falls 4 days before my next disability payment drops, so there is a risk I might not be able to cover it...and more than I depend on my mobile phone service for essentials.

     It's not nearly as critical as the medical premium right now, but it is kind of important.

     Either way, I yield to your empathy.

     Finally, I am currently applying for Federal disability benefits as required by my insurance provider offering my current ex-job based benefits and paying my current disability payments, that is currently ongoing.

     In addition, the Lifeline program has a ceiling of 135% of the poverty level, and only applies for people on Medicaid or already on SSI. My current payments put me at just above the ceiling for eligibility, so I would not qualify.

     I apologize again for the incessant soliciting, but a reminder that making my doctor's appointment on Tuesday is very dependent on me being able to clear out that premium payment (still $380 short on that).

     If that premium isn't cleared by tomorrow, my co-pay for my appointment jumps from $35 to $140 because my medical benefits would be suspended and inactive after tomorrow.

     I should also state that while the COBRA premium is the most critical and pressing need I have right now, there are other minor bills coming due that are almost as critical, such as my mobile phone bill; and there is always the need for purchasing food.

     That's why I set my monthly fundraiser goal so high at the beginning ($1,200 total).

     Any amount would be appreciated gladly, though.
