@brandonscript @GrimmReality
They are a delicious substitute for the red-hot used in a traditional Chicago hot dog. Unlike other vegan sausages, these have a casing to give you that quintessential snap when bite in, and they're also basically all seitan/no filler, so higher protein and lower carbs than other brands
@GrimmReality are they good???
OR the Aldi store-brand uncured turkey dogs. I don't know if you've had the Aldi store-brand uncured turkey dogs but they're basically the champagne of uncured turkey dogs and YUP I typed those words just because I'm pretty sure no one has ever typed them before.
OK two people have asked if the Updog vegan hotdogs are good and I will admit I saw the fucking package and took a telephone photo to do the joke and therefore I have no idea if they are tasty vegan hotdogs nor how they would stack up versus other vegan hotdogs.
Which is not to dismiss vegan hotdogs as exhaustively as it might sound. Make garbage taste like a Hebrew National and I'll fucken eat it.
@GrimmReality I can confirm that updogs are pretty bad. Other vegan sausages and hot dogs are much better. I recommend Field Roast brand personally
