     @GettingCooked well, they can scavenge toothpaste and toothbrushes just like anything else, the show just doesn't get too into the details of the mundane toilet aspects. granted, they probably wouldn't have that super bright white "fresh from the hygienicist" look, but its not unrealistic in the world of the show. as I recall, for example, at one point they were on a scavenging mission specifically for either diapers or baby formula, forget which

     You'd think not being able to brush your teeth for a year would lead to slightly yellow choppers, but no. Kind of similar to my pet peeve where every vintage car in old movies is clean and pristine; like there were no dirty or shitty, beat up cars during said specific period in history?

     @mh I'm thinking there's only so much that can be scavenged. And survival trumps hygiene. I'm just saying they need autists like me to figure out the nitty gritty when making proper cinema, and such.
