Just noticed ExoPrimal dropped today. So is it any good? I keep seeing reviews split down the middle saying it's really fun or just kind of meh. No huge negatives though so I suppose that's good. Kind of strikes me as a diced up version of EDF where instead of one large level it's mini-encounters.

@JubtheNub Always wanted to get into 4x grand strategy shit but it makes me feel like a braindead retard baby by about 30 minutes in. I'll see one, think "Oh yeah, I can do this", and then about an hour in realize I've made a critical mistake lol. This is even stranger when you consider I don't mind tabletop games that delve into this territory somewhat like Twilight Imperium. Maybe it's the interface or just having other people around who are as shit as I am. IDK.

@Jim @JubtheNub in general triyng to get into complex sstrategy games takes a commitment of couple hundred ours to learn how to play at a basic level of competancy and enjoy yourself, all i can do is recommend watching youtube vids of the game you're interested in, anyone who likes to describe what they're doing and why, otherwise it's like ramming your head against a wall not understanding why things are doing what they're doing and what you wanna do just won't work.

@JubtheNub I just wanted a Dino Crisis title so Exoprimal was weird to see happen since for a few seconds during the first reveal I thought that was what it was gonna be. At the end of the day though I loved EDF and that's just giant bugs pretty much so dino hordes could work too. I was just curious if the game turned out to be mindless fun or if it got old super quick.

@Jim Don't think I can be any help, Jim Good Buddy. You're talking to a Map- Painter by heart my guy. Boring strategy games and logistical nightmares are my jam. 4x, Galaxy Conquests, currently doing Total War. Loving the shit out of Rome 2. Though I do wish I got credit for taking Altdorf as Grimgor by turn 19. Oh well. But yeah if anyone knows any Good Grand Strategy Games, hit me up.

@Jim I dont see any point in dino games tbh. Its not like we can revive them by cloning in real life. DNA has a lifespan of <3000 years.
