@The_Vile_Delinquent @Grumblesock just take care of him, sometimes animals die despite our best efforts, and it isn't your fault, and you shouldn't hate yourself over it, pets dying is rough always, but as long as you're doing your best for them, it's just what happens, consider that cats have large litters in nature becuase a lot of them will die, one year i had a litter of kittens just start dropping dead one after another till there was only one left and i did all i oculd for them, but it felt like i made one bad decision after another, i don't blame myself for it, but it feels like shit. i'll pray for your buddy there.

@Grumblesock He's been sleeping all day long. More lethargic than yesterday, but he ain't shitting blood or puking, so, I am hoping this is just a normal part of recovery. I don't like how he has been unable to really use the bathroom except for what is basically just some droplets of watery stuff (sorry to get gross) and it's still weird to me that he had a slight drop in energy than he had last night after passing the worms, but, perhaps I am just projecting my intense hypochondria onto him and realistically, he is just fucking exhausted. Good news is that he seems to be getting an appetite again, too.

Update on Dio:
I just got home and the medicine already has worked. After checking his stool (he had some more accidents, but I can't be angry about it under the circumstances, I have already cleaned it all up), he has expelled quite a few worms. Idk if it is all of them or not, but whatever may be left likely doesn't have much time left in him. He is still tired, too, however, he seems more alert than before and has even managed to climb up to places he shouldn't, particularly, on my bed while covered in filth from his illness. But he is being stubborn and refuses to lay on the bedding I set up for him on the floor and keeps climbing back up. We are not out of the woods yet, of course, but, as of the time I am writing this, things are looking much better for him. Once this is over, I am going to have to spend the entire day doing a deep clean on this entire place.
