@khan yeah I can relate to that there have been times where I could barely read a page or focus 30 mins because my brain was all over the place. I'm not sure I'm all edge now tbh but I feel like I can start to focus again on things.

@khan I had a lot of small changes I think. think there are general things you can do. Find things you like doing that aren't necessarily involved in whatever you spend a lot of time doing now or that aren't necessarily feeding your dopamine the same way. Spending time on things maybe that take time but aren't necessarily boring to the point you can't do them. Try to branch out I guess. Maybe also find something you don't like doing but that you can do repeatedly. Like a chore. That way you'll be more used to doing things that don't give a lot of dopamine. If you spend a lot of time on the internet try to change your relationship with it because it's possible that you're feeding your own problems. That one's hard though of course.

@khan I think for me part of my attention problem is also related to anxiety and being worried about to many things at once. So trying to be more stoic and only focus on a few things, or what you know you can do first might be helpful

@khan I feel like your mindset matters in a way for attention. I also think people tend to naturally get better attention with age

@ComfyGuy I tend to split my attention between multiple things at once too
