  @Eiregoat @BigTLarrity @princess @Dicer Crab cakes can be really hit and miss. I've had some that are fantastic and some that made me very sick.
  
  Shrimp is usually safer. I recommend fried popcorn shrimp, fried in general, or shrimp scampy.
  
  Fried clam strips are also good, Larrity is right about that. Those are best with some tardar sauce though, or after you squeeze a lemon over them.
  
  The shrimp can go in tardar or cocktail, depending on your preference.

  Will admit I broke down and had some fried shrimp a couple weeks ago. They were mediocre, serves me right.

  For some reason I always hated seafood, even fish. Oily squalous fish like mackrel and tuna are the only ones that taste like food to me.
