   @Gargron, the API docs says v1 is being deprecated, yet I am told about 20 Apps use it, including masto mobile? If our extension uses v1 for something, can we count on it being around at least a year or two? Would there be much warning before it died?

     @shoq Deprecated does not mean removed. We don't (typically) break compatibility. But apps should switch to the better method.
