    If you have #gout and you're in #Korea, never order 순대 (#soondae / #sundae / #sunde).

    순대 (soondae/sundae/sunde) is a type of Korean food made from innards and blood. The number one trigger for people with gout.

    Here in the #Philippines we have something similar called #Dinuguan. A local food made from innards and blood.

    So, similarly, when you visit the Philippines, avoid dinuguan if you have gout. If you still want to enjoy your vacation. 😋

    As someone with gout, you need to be aware that #blood as food, and innards, is very common in many countries and cultures. Always ask, don't eat anything just because you don't want to be rude. Your #health and #fitness should be your number one concern.

    Here in the Philippines, people will understand if you refuse. No one, let me repeat, no one, will take offence. We perfectly understand.

    But if we do laugh because you refused, you should not take offence either. It's a friendly laugh, nothing else. We also laugh at each other if we don't like the taste of a certain food from a different region. Filipinos are just a happy bunch of diverse people.

      @agasramirez Haha. Yeah, sisig is so popular, especially the pork sisig variation.

      Don't worry, even chicken sisig is not counted. LOL. For some reason, only pork sisig is counted, which I no longer eat.

      I wish I can try tofu sisig, I am so curious. Sadly, soy-based food is not good for those with gout. T_T However, mushroom sisig, that I must try!

      *I've eaten tofu and mushroom sisig but apparently these don't count 😂

      @youronlyone @agasramirez I've tried bangus sisig. I can't remember the restaurant though. We ordered it for delivery out of curiosity.

      Oooh. Adding that to my list, especially if it tastes like pork sisig. Haha. Since I don't eat pork anymore, have to admit, I miss it. This will be a good alternative.

      @youronlyone @agasramirez The timpla (plus the onions and chilis) made it taste like pork sisig, but different texture of course. My sister doesn't eat pork, and she liked it. I liked it.
