     It'd be fine if they didn't you know, take their work docs and phones with them.
     
     This is literally what got MS a legal threat in the 90s, they hired away engineers from a rival who took their corporate documents and all with them.

     What possible internal documents could've been so important to making a Twitter clone that Facebook had to risk a corporate espionage lawsuit for them? Random nobodies have already cloned Twitter dozens of times, both federated and unfederated.
