   Just asking for the days to come…:
   Is it possible to export a Pleroma database and import it to Mastodon? Is it possible to make that switch, or are there any tools or programs with which one could modify a Pleroma SQL dump to make it compatible with Mastodon again?

   All I want is for my old posts from this (basically “single user”) instance to be transferred to the new instance on mastodon.de!

     @kaia @hj @Erik I have no clue how this stuff actually works but I'd still wager that such a migration is not possible.

     @jonossaseuraava @kaia @Erik i mean.. it's not impossible, but there's no preexisting tools for it, you're probably on your own unless you find someone who is also trying to accomplish this. You'll have to figure out how mastodon stores its stuff and how pleroma stores its stuff, create a way to convert those (which is going to be lossy), deal with the fallout - federation issues, relation issues (i.e. how to deal with replies, missing indexes, missing data etc).
