   This month, we have decided against collecting donations for our Mastodon servers, as there is a more pressing issue: not enough humanitarian aid to Gaza.

   The Gaza strip needs over 500 trucks of food and medical supplies per day, with currently only a few dozen entering overall.

   The problem isn't money, but with over 310 UNRWA, and over 400 humanitarian aid staff in total, killed in Gaza, the problem is also money.

   I urge you to donate whatever you would donate to mastodon.de to this humanitarian aid campaign by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees:

   It would be wrong to ask of your donations, when this social network would still exist next month without them, the same cannot be said for Gaza. :boost_requested:

   In wenigen Tagen fliehen zwei Trans-Freundinnen von mir aus den USA nach Deutschland! :boost_requested:

   Ich hatte schon ein Mal darüber mehr im Detail geschrieben – die Situation hat sich klar verschärft. Wo Ich noch damals fragte, ob man dies überhaupt als Flucht betiteln könnte, würde nun, wenige Wochen später, dies niemand mehr verneinen. Die Welt ist eine andere.

   Ich habe diesen Monat bewusst um keine finanzielle Unterstützung für mastodon.de gebeten, denn viel wichtiger wäre die folgende Unterstützung:

   @ErikUden sure, but that's in the terms of almost all online products.

   If you don't agree to them, you can probably not post online.

   And by the way, where *are* e.g. mastodon.social's TOS? Not the moderation rules, the actual TOS?

   Because mastodon.social/terms gives me a 404...

   Hmmm where are those for mastodon.de Mr. Vertretungsberechtigter? 😜
