Isabell / Isi 🐾 (chumii@chaos.social)'s status on Wednesday, 05-Jul-2023 00:53:52 JST Isabell / Isi 🐾 I wish there was a way to say "Hey, I still like you, but I don't feel as close with you anymore to be comfortable staying in your fedi bubble" without it feeling like a social rejection and stuff

Isabell / Isi 🐾 (chumii@chaos.social)'s status on Wednesday, 05-Jul-2023 00:53:53 JST Isabell / Isi 🐾 I am pretty sure that the people I had once been close with would definitely feel hurt when I would remove them from my fedi lists
But I also feel so uncomfortable staying like this
I am not sure if it would make it better to write them directly that I don't really feel as close anymore and want a bit more distance and stuff, since direct rejections like that can really trigger people badly emotionally
I don't want them to think I wouldn't like them anymore

Isabell / Isi 🐾 (chumii@chaos.social)'s status on Wednesday, 05-Jul-2023 00:53:54 JST Isabell / Isi 🐾 I think I should maybe sort through my follows and followings lists but things like that make me feel so guilty. I am scared of making people feel bad. But I also feel uncomfortable myself when I see posts I don't really want to see (not because of anything triggering, but just because they're somewhat private and I'm not even interacting with that person much anymore, even though I did once some time ago)
