   Yeah, just to make clear, I am totally unofficial, I have no connection to Mastodon or any other Fediverse projects.

   I just run my own accounts and sites, and only speak for myself.

     @feditips is run by a community volunteer, so I wouldn't say exactly "the hands behind #mastodon". Although the people actually working on Mastodon probably have some of the same tendencies - I mean, they're certainly worlds more open and honest than the ones running Twitter.

     This hits me in the feels every time.

     I can't recall the last time I've used a service that was honest and open about its capabilities and drawbacks. Seeing the hands behind #mastodon say 'yeah we have limitations but here is how to improve your user experience NOW' isn't just refreshing, it's the exact opposite of what has been happening on 🐦. Feeling more grateful to be here each day.
