JB Welded the side of my future DIL’s car back on after her step dad borrowed her car and broke part of it off and “fixed” it using white duct tape. I really like JB Weld after the sink repair. Hopefully it does well here.

@compuguy @cryptidry I was hopeful, however the front bumper is one piece and the part that broke off is a long integrated bracket that is bolted to a metal piece in the wheel well. That bracket sheared clean off. To fix it, I'd have to replace the whole bumper. She previously got a quote for about $3500, including paint, replacing the parking sensors, and so on. The $10 tube of JB Weld is worth a shot.

Exactly. Unfortunately those plastic bumpers are really cosmetic and don't really hold up to damage. I vaguely remember my front bumper replacement, before labor and painting, costing around $300-350 dollars....😬

@jerry worth looking to see if the clips/pins can be replaced. Usually a cheap repair so long as the panel isn't cracked/torn.
