Literally the same people scolding Fox News for claiming that computer voting machines rigged were hollering from the rooftops in 2000 and 2004 that rigged computer voting machines handed the election to Bush (they did, by the way).

@caekislove @nozaki @qwerty The reason I love heads I win, tails you lose polls is because I rely on the logic of the person I'm doing it to, and I always leave out an "it's different when I do it" option, which everybody knows is their actual position. It's so, so satisfying. I can't explain it, but I think you understand.

@caekislove @nozaki @dew_the_dew @qwerty I remember in 2020 they were insisting the election was legit because they did recounts and the results came up basically the same. It was a deliberate diversion from the fact that they just stuffed the ballots in the first place with mail in bullshit voting.

@caekislove @nozaki @dew_the_dew @qwerty I don't even think the GOP will fix anything, I just want to watch them steamroll the left with similarly malignant tactics, just out of a sense of justice. Just because turnabout is always fair play. I want to see some absolutely ridiculous shit go down, and then I want to smugly tell the few leftists I know personally that it's definitely legit because the county "certified the results" or whatever the fuck. I want them to know what it feels like.

No, I think their position now is for punching bags and to humiliate everyone who still believes in democracy and voting. I imagine soon voting will collapse and they will lose left and right and the party will go away to a major extent.

Julian Assange couldn't even report on US military war crimes (the practice formerly known as "journalism") without getting hounded and eventually disappeared and tortured. Why would anyone possibly believe they could force the government to do shit by "voting"? It's a scam. Probably always was. At least monarchy came with accountability. These days, we never see the names or faces of those who oppress us.
