I mean, i'm all for folks deciding who they want to federate with but i must admit i didn't expect that from anyone who wasn't being paid by meta (or similar).

@ainmosni Sadly, it was my everyday experience on the hell site with its mainstream tech membership. Looks like they’re here now too and trying to do the same thing. Let’s see if it flies here too or if people resist their bullshit and gaslighting.

Anyone that understands the language can give a quick summary of what they're saying? For some reason translation in Fedilab isn't working well (it's returning the same text as the translation, helpful! 😂 ), are they agreeing with the admin or is it divided?

@aral I know the admin. He is very pro corporate solutions, because he believes its the responsibility of corporations to serve digital solutions.
He very much dislikes those who talks down Meta because he doesnt agree that Meta is a bad company. He doesnt agree that Camebridge Analytica was due to Facebook. He believes that Meta has learned from their mistakes.

@Twelve They don’t see anything wrong with Silicon Valley people farmers or surveillance capitalism in general. They’re the kind of people who would be excited if Meta/Facebook offered them a job. Mark Zuckerberg is an inspirational figure for these folks.

I am abit disepointed as I do not understand where they even comming from. As a Norwegian myself i like seeing others from the same contery, but this juts a disepointment.
