  @feditips @shelenn @funkwhale I am still not sure how this answers my question. If finkwahle all I need to create a "real RSS podcast" or do I need other elements as well (hosting, ...)

  If you've uploaded a podcast onto your Funkwhale account, that would be your hosting. You would not need other elements.
  Funkwhale profiles include a "Follow from RSS" option which provides the podcast's address. This RSS address can be used by podcasting apps, they don't need to be on Funkwhale.
