   @Tendar - who is on Mastodon at @Tendar! - pooh-poohs the idea of this being a #Prigozhin-#Putin op: "I have seen a lot of stupidity coming from Russia but plunging an entire country into chaos just to relieve two men from command and office is like cleaning the windshield of your car with a flame thrower." Thus, this DOES appear to be a Prig. takeover (if successful as it looks as if it will be) of the military, and thus a good chance he takes out Putin.

     "...it is irrelevant if #Prigozhin's coup will succeed...everybody in #Russia & outside will know after this night that the war in #Ukraine is lost. Russian army morale, already low, will hit rock bottom. The mood in Russia altogether will be Armageddon-like. What started as an attempt to overthrow the Ukrainian gov't & annex all of Ukraine has backfired on a monumental scale. The last chapter of this Russian-made tragedy has opened & I doubt it will be a long one."
