I made a timeline of what I've been up to over the last 47 years (inspired by something @scribe did a long time back). It's fascinating to see my life laid out on a single sheet of paper.

@scribe What makes you think that's a point in time rather than an ongoing thing?

@scribe it felt like those 4 films were particularly formative.

Why are you doing these depictions like a horizontal timeline? Probably because you highlight events and decisions in your life?

For me, such a timeline would be in circles or spirals (or even three-dimensional bubbles) because I'd put less emphasis on events and decisions but on moods, states of soul, developments, occurring and re-occuring questions. "Ah, this same old pitfall, again!" It would depict how questions evolved, topics in my life changed, calls heard and answered... or not answered. In fact, this timeline of mine would incorporate the voices of pals and families, past and future, as they are voices "inside" me making up what feels to me. And I guess I'd concentrate less on what was my "development" has been but what it was that kept me going despite... And that would be something already appeaing in the beginning, I guess.

But, anyway, no critique, just a bit of bafflement.

This is great. Expect mine as soon as the vibe is right. In this timeline it looks like coding or the internet was your rabbit hole moment?

All valid points and I didn't mean to critique. When I visualise my lifetime, I usually don't use graphs, it's more like bubbles, building on each other, intersecting one another, morphing into another etc. Or like the seasons, the four corners of the world. I guess I was just surprised to see such visalisations being done your way.
