   You don't have to wait for FediFollows to post an interesting list of follows. They are all on a website at https://fedi.directory which is organised into categories.

     good choice, and welcome!
     „news“ is a broad term. I’d say it depends a bit on what corner of the world you’re in 😉

     Personally, I’m a big fan of RSS feeds for news. If you’re on iOS, get NetNewsWire (free and perfect) and subscribe to all the news sites directly that you don’t want to miss.

     Here on Mastodon, @feditips is a good account to follow. The other day they posted a whole list of news accounts, for example. I didn’t bookmark it, sadly.

     Finally jumped off the bird site for good. With the current state of affairs on Reddit, is there a way to see curated news on mastodon/fedi? I guess following specific lists / users / instances but I don't know where to start!
