     @bogdan honestly it's horrible how capitalism/consumer culture has made it so people think consumption habits are a personality trait. e.g. u get these people who think 'being a geek' is following all the latest tech news and buying/using all the newest gadgets. i still think this is one of the often neglected sad results of our socioeconomic system. creativity and community is dead, there is only consume

     @mia @cel @bogdan i have some IRL people asking what smartphone they should buy, and i awkwardly answer "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh none?, they are all shit"
     
     because i have an affinity for technology, friends are surprised i don't like smartphones or wireless earbuds
