     In other words, they're trying to make being transgender punishable by death.

     And if that passes, who enforces it? The police do.

     The police are a direct threat to LGBT people's lives.

     It's impossible to be an ally to LGBT people if you support the police.

     Police are not welcome at pride. Even if they're LGBT. Even if they're not in uniform."

     @nando161 What about the LGBTIA+ human beings that work law enforcement? Does the world ban all apples just because some are infected with worms? Law enforcement agencies (and all agencies) need to be audited and to toss out the trash. Bad cops are hurting their own, too. There are plenty that wanted to march in Pride. That was a bad day for parade organizers because they created more harm than good.

     @nando161 It’s a mixed bag. There are many cops that are #lgbtqia. The problem is bigoted fascists who should not be working in law enforcement. Telling police who are queer that they cannot march wasn’t a good thing. Telling #lgbtqia that they cannot march for St. Pats is just as bad.
