     @Samhydeigger @nugger @Reluctant_Weeb @mushroom_soup @DEERBLOOD @Nelenese Better a full pizza hut church than an empty cathedral. There's also the reality of maintaining those old beautiful churches. A cost that, in my experience, fewer and fewer congregations can afford.
     
     At the end of the day it doesn't matter where we gather to worship, whether it's in someone's home, or a cathedral in the middle of a major city, what matters is that we gather to worship the Lord our God.

     While that is true, that building is not spiritually enriching. A beautiful building is an asset to a church.
