     also worth pointing out that *three* of these "wars" all lasted less than 3 weeks. only the first one is an actual war that lasted longer than 6 months.

     @genmaicha @augustus the US didn't really back Israel militarily until the Yom Kippur war actually. The Czech government did a lot more to protect the early Israeli state than the American government.

     @georgia @genmaicha from what I just read it seemed that they didn't even really need much help in Yom Kippur war either, and the masses of US aid they got from it was more about countering the Soviets
