   The majority of this growth comes from instances with thousands of users and 1 post, suggesting that the growth is largely spambot driven.

     @chris_hayes @dansup I've not seen an active uptick in any kind of actual spam though.

     I'm begining to wonder if it's just a bug. Is that stat showing all users an instance is aware of, as opposed to actual local ones?
