     @goatsarah That's a good idea, but I think we have to begin with clearing a road through the wilderness first.

     If we can make it large enough for a car, or a truck, Lisbon could begin to flourish.

     Seing that you're a Brit, I assume that you traveled there by ship? What's the current state of the port?

     @goatsarah I imagine it would be fairly easy to connect Lisbon to Madrid with high speed rail? Their goal is to connect all capitals, so Lisbon is naturally included in the vision
