     @AndStatus is that your solution? The problem persists, that's why I contacted You, I still Witherspoon the fail, I can not write more than one line, I followed the instructions in the link but nothing has changed.
     I have reset the Phone to default adjust to try find solution to this and no changed.
     This issue only happend in andstatus, in any other app.
     i can write one more line and not will send message when i push enter for example tusky, Twitter, etc. But in andstatus the fail persist.

     @AndStatus i have reseted my Phone to the default configuration, changed the keyboard an nothing... the fail persist.
     But i observed a thing: the only app wich send message when i push enter is andstatus and only andstatus.
     Some recomendation?

     @isaakubus The problem that you encounter is specific to a keyboard app that you use and/or to the Android version.
     What are they so I could try to reproduce the behavior?

     @AndStatus the only app that has this bug is andstatus and only andstatus! with any keyboard installed it does the same! any suggestions?

     @isaakubus This means that incompatibility is with your device firmware.
     What's its model and Android version?
     BTW I use Pixel 6 now - line break works.

     @AndStatus ok thanks, uninstalling andstatus... 😭😭😭😭😭
     I needed the app to use gnusocial, but the app doesn't work well and there's no solution to the problem, at least not on my phone, which I don't think I'll be able to change for a long time 😞
     what a disappointment, this discourages and demotivates a lot, I will not can use gnusocial for a long time 😥

     note: i use a samsung galaxy a01

     @isaakubus You could also try some older version of #AndStatus
     As you may see in the discussion that I linked to some years ago AndStatus had different implementation for line break option...

     @AndStatus do the same, with AndStatus in older or New version send a message when i push enter.
     The multiline post is impossible with this app in the Phone!

     @AndStatus at least on our teams Keep sending messages by pressing enter! doing what they say the problem persists. And so far none of the solutions that you Propose have worked, the problem has been going on for many months.
     In the end people who used andstatus got fed up and upset because there is no app or version of andstatus that works well, sorry to say.

     @AndStatus The keyboard was changed more than 30 times in different versions, the phone was even formatted, leaving only the andstatus application and keyboards and the problem persists. no solution proposed so far has worked.

     @AndStatus In the end the people who used andstatus and gnusocial preferred to stop using that since there is no solution to sending messages when pressing enter and the problem has been around for a long time.
     the problem persists, no solutions are found and people have been terribly disappointed.

     @isaakubus So I understand that you installed different keyboard apps at your phone, and in all apps there was no way to make a linebreak.
     If so this means that incompatibility is with your phone firmware and/or Android version. In order for me to fix the problem I need to be able to reproduce it.
     But so far I don't have a device with this problem.

     @AndStatus In the end people got annoyed, disappointed, not finding solutions, they stopped using gnusocial and andstatus, the decision was made to migrate to mastodon with apps that do work well and allow multiple lines since nothing has worked.
     a real shame, we really liked andstatus and gnusocial, but it doesn't, work and you say it's incompatible... 😭😭😭😭😭
