When talking about Ukraine, this is exactly the message we need to understand: Dealing with Vladimir Putin, peace is not an option.

@aurochs @randahl At the outset of the war, he of course had an idea about what he wanted to achieve. It was to turn Ukraine into a copy of Belarus. But this objective is obviously failed, and he has not been able to formulate new goals that make sense.
@anderspuck @randahl I find it hard to imagine that Putin started a full invasion of an enormous country without a clear objective (at least regarding the invasion per-se).
On a broather view, I am sure that, if he wins in Ukraine (achieves his objectives, whatever they were at the beginning), that would be just the start.
@aurochs @randahl Aside from the things I mention in the film? I’m not sure Putin has much of a plan. The war is the new normal, both in Ukraine and as an existential struggle with the West.
@randahl @anderspuck The question for me is, then. What do you think are Putin's expectations for the invasion of Ukraine, Anders?
