     I've always been attracted to and kind of flirted with @elementary since I discovered the distro years ago, and I have so, so much respect for @danirabbit - and that matters to me a great deal, too. What the heck, I might try it out from the live distro in the next few days and see how it feels, and the fact they've always been friendly and approachable online with me and initiatives I volunteer and work for, and are up-front and honest about donations and "bounties" (how fun!), all makes me more inclined to donate, in whatever way I can, and likely ask for donations to the distro from others on things like my birthday! #ElementaryOS

     @MediaActivist @elementary @danirabbit it's not a bad distro, yes it's "barebones" in a sense, maybe "streamlined" is better wording to describe it.

     It is rock solid, easy to use, user friendly!

     @sanjaromin @elementary @danirabbit Thanks, I really appreciate your input, it's good to get opinions and experiences from other folks! The last twenty years I've come from Microsoft Windows to Apple Mac, and in the last ten of those years from Ubuntu to Fedora to Mint to Manjaro to Arch and back to Manjaro. I need a load of apps, but the AUR can be a bit of a minefield for me yet! And I love the Pantheon stuff! I like an OS to be, well...pretty haha.

     @MediaActivist @elementary @danirabbit elementary IS DEFINITELY pretty! So slick & clean!

     I need to get back to doing my distro reviews, check it out again to see how it's improved (KDE Neon is my daily driver, also use Kali & MX (on old hardward))

     @sanjaromin @elementary @danirabbit Haha yes it seems oh so pretty! And yeah there are some really nifty distros for older hardware, breathing new life into old computers. I love reading reviews so count me in!
