     There are three time lines. Personal, local, and federated.
     
     The federated timeline on NAS is full of porn. I do not have this problem here. It suggests that someone at NAS was looking at a lot of porn, which caused it to be highly federated with porn instances.

     I thought the fedi was composed of everything not either blocked by our instance or who is blocking us.
     For instance ( no pun intended):
     When I jump on spook.social and look at the fedi I assumed it was the raw uncut fediverse flowing by.

     If you know an account at an instance that isn't yet federated, you could use the search function, or you could @ the account and then click and follow it. A majority of the federated timeline will be composed of accounts local users follow.
