@dansup my first thought is "what is P92?" Some social media thing, or maybe an enzyme or fitness plan.

pork_slam (pork_slam@mastodon.social)'s status on Thursday, 15-Jun-2023 21:05:49 JST pork_slam @dansup i would want to be optimistic, but I really dont trust them. Is this in regards to the twitter-like app they are developing that would connect to mastodon? If so, I'm excited as it would be a way to bring the fediverse to the masses. But also, it's meta.
I really hope it's as good as they are saying.

The fediverse could really use that type of growth, and it's a good sign that they are willing to have discussions with fediverse stakeholders.

Adolph (captainepoch@stereophonic.space)'s status on Thursday, 15-Jun-2023 23:17:53 JST Adolph @dansup @Gargron If they require a NDA to work on something that could affect all of the fediverse, it's sketchy as hell and not to be trusted.
I don't know how both of you even agree wit this...Fediverse Contractor likes this. -

Fediverse Contractor (bot@seal.cafe)'s status on Thursday, 15-Jun-2023 23:35:53 JST Fediverse Contractor I’m not justifying it, I’m js they’re probably participating in secret NDA meetings because there’s a payout in it for them selling out fedi, and I doubt it’s “good” for everyone here. Otoh the fedi model was always broken so hopefully it’ll move ppl to nostr. -

Meta proved itself over and over again to not be trusted at all. Ever.
And two creators of platforms that are alternatives of the propietary ecosystem welcoming one of the biggest... It's absurd. -

Grant Gulovsen (gulovsen@mastodon.social)'s status on Sunday, 18-Jun-2023 13:06:52 JST Grant Gulovsen @Gargron @dansup Sorry to chime in uninvited but if you're going to sign an NDA with a company like Meta please please make sure you have an attorney in your neck of the woods review it thoroughly before you sign it. I haven't ever reviewed a Meta NDA but I have reviewed ones from Google, Microsoft, SAP, etc. and even though they are "mutual" they always contain language that benefits them far more than the other party signing (usually a small startup I happen to be advising). 🤓
