     Reboot characters were stiffly animated in the initial seasons but towards the end it was animated quite decently. They chose a smart art style and character design to hide the technological shortcomings of the time period.

     I think seeing the sumo guy going from invincible antagonist to useless side character when he flipped sides was one of the first instances I clearly noticed how stories are often driven by narratives rather than by the characters, and being pretty disappointed about it
