   @ed also remember that the UAE released an even more powerful model under an actual open license (apache 2). Will there be bombs falling on technology institutes?

     The US Senate subcommittee on Privacy Technology and Law asked Meta questions about their “leaked” #AI model LLaMa.

     Forget for a moment that this is Meta: I fear that if these questions were asked to any #OpenSource developer we’d all be shaking in fear for the whole ecosystem.
