     @why @Moon Yeah. I was pretty immersed in Second Life back in the day thanks to my imagination, and that was even with the lack of polish.
     
     I still wouldn't go back to that sort of world today, irrespective of polish. I'd much rather explore the real world.

     when I was a teenager I spent a good deal of time building things on ActiveWorlds with VRML. It's easy to get sucked into a virtual world where you're not a loser
